The third Craps number 12 is “ barred” from winning to prevent players from gaining an advantage over the casino, so if the shooter throws 12, the roll will result in a push. Thus, if 7 or 11 are rolled on the first round, you lose, but if the two Craps numbers 2 or 3 are rolled, your Don't Come bet will win. The Don't Come bet closely mirrors the Don't Pass bet and is played in two rounds. The proper place to do it is in the betting box located in the upper corner of the table, that says “ Don't Come Bar 12”. Once the shooter has come out and there is a Point number, you are free to place your Don't Come bet.
If it's the other way around and the disk has “Off” written on top, you will have to wait for the shooter to come out.
If the disk is white and reads “On” on top, this is an indicator the shooter has already come out and a Point has been established. You will notice there is a small plastic disk at the side in the section where Come bets are placed. The only difference between the two results from the fact Don't Come bets can only be placed when a Point for the Pass Line has been established and are never accepted on the shooter's come out roll.īefore you place a Don't Come bet, it would be best to take a closer look at the craps' table.
The truth of the matter is the Don't Come bet can best be described as an extension of the Don't Pass bet.
